Human Impact on the Future
Description:
In this unit, students will read the book FEED and study a variety of futuristic issues. Students will read, write, discuss and learn about technology and how it impacts us as people and our society. In groups, students will complete an exhibition project based around the idea of solving or fixing a local or world issue. Groups will be expected to put on a presentation in front of an authentic audience including peers, staff, parents, administration, family members and community members. Students will also engage in a number of smaller activities and prompts throughout the unit.
